This September, Noega Systems had the opportunity to participate in the first meeting of the working group that officially launched the revision of the EN 15635 standard, the European standard regulating the use and maintenance of storage equipment.
Engineers and technical specialists from all over Europe met in Warsaw, Poland, to initiate this important process.

Who is leading the revision of the EN 15635 standard?
The technical work was led by Dr. Tomasz Chojnacki, Chairman of the Racking Technical Committee of the Polish Society of Material Handling (PSTM), together with Alan Worrell, Technical Secretary.
The working group brings together specialists from different European countries, with extensive experience in the design, operation, inspection, and maintenance of racking systems.
What are the next steps in the revision of the EN 15635 standard?
Now a multi-phase process awaits us. It will involve comparing experiences across different markets, analyzing how the EN 15635 standard has been applied to date, and addressing key aspects related to the safe use, inspection, and maintenance of storage systems.
